Residents are encouraged to be proactive when it comes to maintaining their units.  

The Board of Directors recommend owners do the following:

  • Replace the water shutoff valves if they are deteriorating or inoperable.
  • Service the HVAC (air conditioning) units at least twice a year and drain lines cleaned.
  • Reseal and waterproof  the skylight every couple of years (2nd floor owners).

Preventative Maintenance for Unit Owners

  • Replace hot water heaters every 10 to 12 years.

  • ​Replace dishwashers every 10 to 12 years.
  • Make sure dishwasher and washing machine hoses are reinforced, braided metal ones
  • ​Clean dryer vents both inside and out every year for year-round residents; every two years for seasonal residents.
